1st Day – Archaeology and hiking
Upon your arrival, go to the Paladru Lake Archaeological Museum to immerse yourself in the history of the first inhabitants of the shores of the lake. A new setting for exceptional archaeological remains that offer you a captivating journey to the Neolithic era and the year one thousand.
At noon, you are free to choose between a picnic from your bag or a gourmet break on the terrace of “Paladru plage” (just next to the museum and the start of the hike).
In the afternoon, put on your sneakers, walk upwards on the route of the “Hike of the 3 crosses” to admire the panorama of the lake and the more distant massifs to the east! If the sky is clear, look east to see the Mont-Blanc ; yep that is it you can see!

For your night at the Roselière du lac, Marceline and Claude offer you a suite consisting of 2 bedrooms and a dining area, opposite the beach and the archaeological museum, with a view of the lake from the bedrooms and the terrace!

Head to the Yacht Club Grenoble Charavinesto discover the pleasures of sliding! Set off for 2 hours on one of the nautical kayak trails. Navigate to the remarkable sites located on your map and discover a historical anecdote...
At noon, treat yourself to a gourmet break in one of the best tables in the area: l'Hotel des Bains. Don't forget to book, it's a very popular site!
Before hitting the road again, rent your electric bikes at Natura Vélo and set off on the greenway for an easy walk that still has some great surprises in store for you. Just after the start, join the Bois d'Amour, a unique path by the lake, under the trees, offering you an ideal setting for contemplation. Continue and go to the other end of the lake, to the marsh path, which borders the Sensitive Natural Area of the Véronnière marshes. Return to Charavines by the same route at your own pace.
