1st DAY – Pedal and cultivate your historical curiosity!
Start your day by picking up your electric bike for the day and prepare your picnic!
Take the 24,3km (2h30) “Les Hauts du Lac de Paladru” circuit which will allow you a first stop at the MLP (Archaeological Museum of Lac de Paladru) and a second at the Tithe Barn for the visit of the exhibition after the picnic break!
Start your day by picking up your electric bike for the day and by preparing your picnic with the surrounding merchants!
Departure from Charavines to start the circuit "the heights of the Lac de Paladru » (24,3km and 2h30); after having traveled the greenway, a first stop at the MALP (Archaeological Museum of Lac de Paladru) will arouse the curiosity of your teenagers about the way of life of our ancestors! Then a second stop is necessary at the Grange Dîmière for a picnic break in the orchard and a visit to the seasonal exhibition (from May to the end of September)!
Then finish your circuit quietly which brings you back to Charavines where you can return your bikes to go and settle in at the gîte to enjoy the evening!
Located in Le Pin, the Grange Dîmière is a starting point for walks or mountain bike rides... A former outbuilding of the Carthusian monastery of Sylve Bénite, it dates from 1655 and today offers an ideal setting for staging exhibitions contemporary ceramic sculptures. To see, and it's free!
Your night at Gîte la Revatière in Bilieu
You will be welcomed in a warm and friendly atmosphere in a carefully decorated gîte with a large wooded park.
A little extra : on arrival in the cottage a basket of local produce and organic vegetables from the garden (depending on the season) awaits you.

Day 2 – Paddle and browse the lake!
Morning session discovery of rowing !
The only prerequisite for getting started in this accessible and 100% fun sport: knowing how to swim 25m!
And here we go for a 2-hour session where you will have to find balance, tune your movements to move your boat forward: ideal for developing family listening skills ;-). Laughter guaranteed!
Nothing like a lunch break on the terrace overlooking the lake to debrief this experience. Direction Charavines at the restaurant Dolphin Beach 😉
In the afternoon, we continue to handle the oars but in a kayak this time!
Leave for 2 hours on one of the kayaking water trails. Sail to the remarkable sites located on your water-repellent map and discover a historical anecdote or a hidden site allowing you to observe the endemic fauna and flora...
Choose from 3 nautical trails:
– a “Heritage” trail targeting the historic sites of the lake: in particular the famous medieval site of Colletière and its legends that you will discover.
– two “ecological” paths allowing to visit the hidden sites allowing to observe the endemic fauna and flora.
