To inaugurate the new IGN map collection, take part as a family in a hiking map discovery workshop with Julien Schmitz, followed by a mini orienteering course in the park, and discuss his job with him.
Julien Schmitz has worked as a mountain bike instructor and mountain guide for many years. Passionate about mountains and nature, his profession takes him to the peaks and trails of the Alps, the Nordic countries, or the Himalayas. He roams the Dauphiné with love, in all seasons, always in search of a new natural pearl. Amateur of photography, he collaborates with the specialized mountain and nature press. He is also the author of several topoguides on the Dauphiné-Savoie region, for hiking, snowshoeing, ski touring, or even more recently mountain biking. All modes of transport are good for discovering our beautiful region!
