The must-sees in Voiron
The Chartreuse Festivals
To me of May, Chartreuse Festivals, it’s a festive event not to be missed around the Chartreuse trilogy: the massif, the Order of the Chartreux and the Chartreuse liqueur! On this occasion, the City of Voiron, the Caves de la Chartreuse and the communes of Chartreuse are adorned with their usual green and yellow decorations! Numerous cultural, festive and gourmet events to learn more about the Chartreuse.
The Saint-Martin Fair
Each November 10 & 11, since 1356, the Saint-Martin Fair settles and enlivens the city center of Voiron. A friendly moment with family or friends, to find good deals while strolling through the aisles, or to snack and treat yourself at the food stands. Without forgetting the funfair, which comes to town at the beginning of November, with its rides, candy stands and other attractions for all ages!
The Goat Fair in Saint-Aupre
This is another historic fair in Voiron, the 418th edition of which took place in September 2023! In the heart of this village, at the foot of the Chartreuse, you will find a friendly and warm atmosphere. Garage sale, arts and crafts and discovery of the trades of yesteryear in the presence of course of the famous goats!

For the trail
New for 2024, the Pays Voironnais Trail Series proposed by the organizers of the 6 Trails Voironnais, met with great success for this launch year! In chronological order, here are the trail races: the Sacré Trail des Collines in March, the Trail du lac de Paladru in April, the Trail du Circuit de la Sure and the Foulées de Voreppe in June, the Foulées nature de Crossey and the Trail du Buis in October.

En June, Nautical festival at the YCGC in Charavines is the opportunity to discover navigation on Lake Paladru for free, by sailboat, canoe-kayak or paddle!
En September, at Lake Paladru, come with family or friends, sporty or not, to do the lake tour A bicycle ! An unmissable event that gives pride of place to soft mobility (bikes, scooters, electric or not, balance bikes, rollerblades, skateboards, etc.)!

To all those who do not fear noise and who like to raise their heads to admire pretty colorful fireworks, it is often the evening of July 14, at nightfall, that you will be amazed! However, some sparkling events punctuate the summer here!
