Camping La Grande Forêt
Located in the Chartreuse Regional Nature Park, the Grande Forêt municipal campsite is ideally located in the heart of the village. Located a few meters from the shops, it is also the starting point for hiking, mountain biking and cycling.
It offers 10 flat and shaded pitches, with electricity.
The toilet blocks are accessible to people with reduced mobility.
A service terminal is accessible to motorhomes.
The campsite has a common room and is close to a skate park, a tennis court, a pétanque court and a multi-sports area (handball, basketball, etc.).
Located 25km from Saint Pierre de Chartreuse and 15km from Lac de Paladru.

From June 15th to September 13th, 2026, the campsite is open every day.
Reception open:
– In June and September: Monday to Friday from 8am to 11am and Saturdays and Sundays from 8am to 11am and from 18pm to 20pm
– In July and August: from 8am to 11am and from 18pm to 20pm every day
Outside of reception opening hours, check-in is still possible, provided you regularize your stay during reception opening hours.

Adult price / day: €4 (per additional adult)
Child price / day: €2,50 (3 to 12 years old, free for children under 3)

5 km from Voiron station on the road to Chambéry (35 km)
Access without a car:
From Voiron, take bus line T41 towards Gare Routière – Chambéry, to the “Village” stop, then walk approximately 8 minutes (600 m). Alternatively, you can take bus line 52 towards Miribel-les-Echelles and get off at “Saint-Etienne-de-Crossey – Village”, then walk approximately 8 minutes (600 m).
From Chambéry, take the T41 line towards Gare Routière Nord – Voiron, to the “Village” stop, then walk approximately 9 minutes (700 m).
