The Wild Waters Cafe

Café Art Concert, a socially conscious venue in Bilieu, on the shores of Lake Paladru, offers concerts, exhibitions, workshops, and events for all ages. A friendly and intimate space to meet, share, and connect with the rhythms of creativity and nature.

The Café Art Concert project was built around several dreams:
Create a place for sharing and discovery, warm, intergenerational, accessible to all budgets, a space combining leisure and culture, gastronomy, ecology and generally: all the Arts.

Further information Coffee and tea room service during the day. Snacks available on Wednesday lunchtimes. Events and catering on Friday and Saturday evenings. Mega Brunch on Sundays during school holidays. An event and workshops every week: concerts, shows, exhibitions, screenings, films, gastronomy, creative activities...

Eco-responsible and sustainable approach: Architecture - Renovation and extension of a rammed earth barn, a heritage site in the Isère region. Project based on respecting the building's identity and history, with a bioclimatic design. - Choice of bio-based materials to limit environmental impact. - Choice of a greenhouse made of thermal polycarbonate (fully recyclable, more resistant to hail than glass) and local wood. - Choice of a rainwater harvesting system. - Choice of solar panels. - Choice of a double-flow mechanical ventilation system. - Local artisans for the various trades involved in the project. Café layout - Choice of furniture and tableware sourced locally or created by local artisans. Café activities and catering - Priority given to local, fresh, seasonal products, and organic whenever possible. - Reduction of food waste: sustainable containers for transporting products, full use of products, implementation of a reservation system for the restaurant to manage quantities. - On-site waste recycling and composting. - On-site vegetable garden with edible flowers and herbs. - Raising customer awareness about the environment: purchasing second-hand equipment, local sourcing, "homemade, DIY," recycling, and responsible consumption. - Activities offered: prioritizing local associations, self-employed individuals, and businesses.
