The Pays Voironnais belongs to the national network of "Cities and Countries of Art and History". The Ministry of Culture awards this designation to communities that initiate actions of mediation and preservation of heritage and architecture.
The Pays d'art et d'histoire du Pays Voironnais organizes numerous activities for young people, residents, visitors and professionals, to enable the discovery and preservation of the architectural and heritage riches of the 31 municipalities in the area.
