Exceptional ensemble typical of XNUMXth century Dauphinoise architecture. Like an "island in the countryside", the castle is accessible by a drawbridge over the water moat.

To admire: its steeply sloping roofs, its chapel and its secrets, its grand staircases, its unique decoration, the furniture and interior decorations of which bear witness to the 700-year history of a region. The decorations and woodwork are signed by Hache de Grenoble cabinetmakers as well as the parquet in the large summer company lounge, a perfect 100 m² square.

Permanent exhibition: Museum of XNUMXth and XNUMXth century woodworking tools: largest private collection of tools dating from this period.

Documentary films:
- "The Wonders of the Ordinary" allows you to discover the fauna and flora of Château de Longpra throughout the seasons.
- "Les savoir-faire des artisans" presents the process of restoring paintings: a painting by Pierre de Cortone, "The Holy Family", as well as two paintings from the French School of the XNUMXth century.

Further information : Parking for 2 coaches 3 sanitary facilities for the site, one of which is accessible to people with reduced mobility. Difficulties of progression: stairs to climb. Unattended access to the moat. Open to groups all year round by reservation from 20 people.
