à Saint-Geoire-en-Valdaine

Parcours d'orientation patrimoine enfant

Located in the Ainan valley, St-Geoire-en-Valdaine has a living environment conducive to historical, sporting and gourmet walks. Using your map, find the beacons that have been installed near the Church and the seven castles.

On each beacon, a clamp will allow you to punch the box which corresponds to the number of the beacon. Once the beacon is found, the information will allow you to know more about the place.
Good discovery !

The route starts from the Combe Versoud car park. The route then heads towards the Royal Abbey of Saint-André, which now houses the Town Hall, passing by the castles of Cabarot, Clermont (which was the castle of the local lords from the Middle Ages until the Wars of Religion), Rochette, and finally a visit to the castle of Longpra, which overlooks the village from the end of its avenue lined with majestic trees.
