Large grassy beach with some shaded areas (the water gets deep quickly). Children's playground and picnic area. Restaurant and ice cream parlor on site. Barbecues and smoking are prohibited.
Located at an altitude of 500 meters, Lake Paladru is 6 km long, 1 km wide and covers 392 hectares, making it the 5th largest natural lake in France.
Be captivated by its crystal-clear turquoise waters, which can reach up to 25°C in summer. Swimming is supervised throughout the summer season for your safety.
Important: Launching paddleboards from the beach is prohibited. A dedicated area is provided for this purpose at the port of Paladru.
The beach is equipped and accessible to wheelchair users.
Before diving in, why not take advantage of the many activities around the lake?
Those who are more athletic can try their hand at sailing, rowing, mountain biking or hiking.
Families and children will also find something to enjoy: easy walks, pedal boat rentals, paddleboards or themed sailing trips.
Further information : Access to swimming for groups is governed by the lifeguard, the group leader must report to the lifeguard to receive bathing instructions. Adapted changing rooms, tiralo available and free (a companion is necessary).

Opening
Supervised swimming from June 01st to August 31st, 2026, from 11am to 18:30pm. Outside of this period, swimming is not supervised.
