Located at an altitude of 500 meters, Lake Paladru is 6 km long, 1 km wide and covers 392 hectares, making it the 5th largest natural lake in France.
Be captivated by its crystal-clear turquoise waters, which can reach up to 25°C in summer. Swimming is supervised throughout the summer season for your safety.
Important: Launching paddleboards from the beach is prohibited. A dedicated area is provided for this purpose at the port of Paladru.
The beach is equipped and accessible to wheelchair users.
Before diving in, why not take advantage of the many activities around the lake?
Those who are more athletic can try their hand at sailing, rowing, mountain biking or hiking.
Families and children will also find something to enjoy: easy walks, pedal boat rentals, paddleboards or themed sailing trips.
Access to swimming for groups is regulated by the lifeguard; the group leader must present themselves to the lifeguard to receive swimming instructions.
Adapted changing rooms, beach wheelchair available free of charge (an accompanying person is required).
The lake and its beaches are prone to heavy crowds during the summer months, on weekends when the weather is nice, and on public holidays. It's best to come during the week to enjoy this unspoiled natural area and a less hectic swim! Don't hesitate to visit the tourist office's travel advisors for alternative suggestions nearby.
