It is an afternoon and evening site located at an altitude of 800m. It is generally necessary to wait until 14 p.m. for the sun to start heating the cliffs, for the convection to set in and for the take-off to be energized.

Walks along the cliffs of the Grand Ratz are possible.
Possibility of Crossing in Chartreuse, via the Grande sure, or in Vercors, via the Dent de Moirans.

Read the information boards for any restrictions that may be in effect.

Access to the paragliding takeoff is on foot (20 minutes walk, by 4x4 for hang gliders).
Respect the peace and quiet of local residents when parking vehicles in the small village of Grand-Ratz.

Please note:
- Strong thermals at takeoff exit.
- Presence of rollers which give tailwind during takeoff.
- Do not fly over the national road and housing estates at low altitude near the landing site.

Road access via the Pommiers-la-placette pass. At the pass, join the Grand Ratz, park and continue on foot to the take-off site.
