For one evening, the Grand Angle becomes a musical arena where two pianists, André Manoukian and Jean-François Zygel, come to confront each other in a joust that is very pleasant for the ears.
André Manoukian and Jean-François Zygel are two talented improvisers, each with their own unique world. On stage, the virtuoso duo engages in a spirited, warm, and passionate musical brawl. These two lifelong partners not only enjoy sharing their passion for music, but also share their love of music with their audiences.
The exchange between these two giants of the French music scene gives rise to improvisations as well as borrowings from the greats of jazz and classical music. The audience also has its part to play in this friendly battle, notably invited to decide between the two friends on songs offered on the fly!
