In the 1th century, J. de St-Georges, a Savoyard architect, specialized in the construction of castles in the service of the Count of Savoy and later Edward I, King of England. He is believed to be responsible for the construction of the castle and fortified town of Voiron.

The Land of Art and History invites you to a new season of "Aperos Art et Histoire." On the menu: a friendly time to share and discuss research topics that enhance knowledge of the region.
