Chapel of the Sacred Heart - Portes De Chartreuse High School 387, avenue Stalingrad, 38340 Voreppe
Building built in 1931, in reinforced concrete. A former minor seminary, it is labeled “Heritage of the XNUMXth century”. The stained glass windows created by the Picardy artist Marguerite Huré represent the life of the priest.
Upon entering the chapel, you will be greeted by the polychrome wooden statue of the Sacred Heart, sculpted by Henri Charlier. Then, you will be dazzled by the eleven magnificent stained-glass windows by Marguerite Huré.
You will notice the marble altar of the Echaillon and its bas-reliefs by Henri Charlier, the delicacy of the ironwork by Raymond Subes and the altar ornaments by Edmond Lesage.
