Concert de l'ensemble vocal : Cassius Palmyre
Monastère de la Visitation 27 rue du May 38500 Voiron
About Us
Cassius Palmyre is a vocal ensemble composed of thirteen passionate amateur singers. For its fifth musical residency in Isère, the ensemble explores a varied repertoire that showcases vocal music in all its diversity.
The Cassius Palmyre ensemble offers you a musical program with the voice as the sole performer.
Whether they are dark and meditative in Lassus' famous "Lamentations", comforting in Herbert Howells' "Requiem", or drumming and luminous in Mendelssohn, the voices of the thirteen singers are transformed throughout the program's pieces.
Blending eras and languages, this concert is a tribute to the art of vocal writing that allows us to translate the emotions of yesterday to share them today.
