Setting fiction to music retracing human history from the rural exodus, Essor et Chute (...de notre civilisation) follows the different periods of industrialization, wars and crises until the advent of "100% renewable”, echoing the current ecological and energy tensions. Romain Baret's latest project offers a committed, modern and virtuoso jazz, served by remarkable musicians.
