Exposition : Bateaux sous l'eau – Archéologie des sites immergés
Musée archéologique du lac de Paladru – MALP 51 rue du Musée Paladru 38850 Villages du lac de Paladru
About Us
From the myth of sunken cities to contemporary research techniques, discover underwater archaeology. Follow archaeologists as they explore shipwrecks, from prospecting and research to preservation and development.
Then, venture into the murky waters of the Rhône, following the trail of an ancient merchant ship's wreck, and discover its story. To conclude your aquatic journey, stories and archival images of dugout canoes and artifacts unearthed at Lake Paladru invite you to (re)immerse yourself in 5,000 years of history.
Like a scientific expedition, the exhibition reveals the methods and techniques applied to the study of archaeological heritage submerged in the waters of seas, lakes or rivers.
Content aimed at children is offered so that the whole family can enjoy the exhibition!
