About Us
The Pays d'art et d'histoire du Pays Voironnais hosts the exhibition of the Department of Isère which highlights the evolution of the urban fabric in the industrial age, by analyzing how the installation of factories transformed the landscapes.
Through a meticulous inventory covering some twenty city districts, carefully chosen for their architectural diversity and industrial development, the exhibition invites the public to discover often little-known archival documents that recount this adventure in which industrialists, architects, and elected officials worked to develop industry, create shared spaces, and innovative architectures that make certain Isère cities what they are today.
