“I happened to believe that I was born at the wrong time. I am a memory artist. My inspiration, I draw it from family stories, period photographs, which each of us has in a drawer. My grandmother had Alzheimer's disease, and this period strongly influenced my approach to photography. I then felt the need to add another dimension to photography, a more kinesthetic dimension, by placing it back at the heart of our domestic space, sometimes adding the sounds of everyday life, sometimes the voices of the people we want to keep in memory."
