About Us
The cycling festival offers the opportunity to watch a cycling race, get your bike serviced, try out a new bike, have fun on funny bikes or unicycles, and learn to ride safely in the city!
Cycling race and cycling village with around fifteen exhibitors, trials and activities for young and old.
The cycling festival is organised by Véligood and the Voiron Cycling Union (UCV) in partnership with the City of Voiron and the SMMAG. It includes a cycling race and a cycling village.
The cycling race:
– From 9 a.m. to 18 p.m.: final stage in Voiron of the Pays Voironnais cycling tour: 8 road races on a continuous closed loop.
– Awards ceremony.
– At 12:15pm: ride the stage of the race with family or friends, with your own bike, which you can decorate in the colors of the Tour de France.
The cycling village:
– Testing of bicycles, gravel bikes, electric bikes;
– Introduction to unicycling;
– Maintenance, overhaul, repair;
– Sale of bicycles and accessories, advice;
– Cycling in urban environments;
– “Learn to ride” workshop;
– Testing of funny bikes (14pm to 17pm);
– Children's bike circuit;
– Children's balance bike race;
– BMX and balance bike course;
– Cargo bike animation;
– Wheelie demonstration.
