Tithe Barn Tithe Barn Road - Le Pin, 38850 Villages of Lake Paladru
Maria Bosch's ceramic installation invites us to explore the cycles of life. As if suspended, time seems to stand still, a silent, contained yet palpable waiting suggested by the artist's ceramic works.
History, culture and heritage:
La Grange Dîmière is a former outbuilding of the Carthusian monastery of Sylve Bénite (nearby). It was used to collect royalties in kind for the monks. Impressive by the vast proportions of its framework and its pebble architecture, it has been listed in the Supplementary Inventory of Historic Monuments since 1987.
