A day of sharing offering: African meals, cooking, henna and djembe workshops, storytelling, dances, video exchanges between Burkina and France and the storytelling show “Le pont du désert” in the evening. Organized on the occasion of the Festival des Solidarités.
Day organized by WECRE France, the youth center of the MPT in partnership with WECRE Burkina, the Secours Populaire and the Jardins de la Solidarité
This day is based on intergenerational exchanges.
In the program :
- In the morning, an "African meal" workshop for adults and teenagers with stories for the little ones. Henna, djembe and African dance workshops will enhance the afternoon.
- The teenagers of Saint-Jean and those of the suburbs of Ouagadougou will mutually present their video creations. Thanks to the web, the spectators present will be able to intervene in the debates.
- An African meal will precede the show at 20:30 p.m.: "Le Pont du désert", an intercultural tale where the two facetious storytellers-musicians Saïdou Pocotogo dit PACOS (Burkina-Faso) and Abdellatif Tanghaoui (Morocco) are responsible for re-enchanting the Great Sahara . Let's listen, see...
