About Us

Synopsis: Vincent Verzat has been filming ecological mobilizations for 10 years on the YouTube channel Partager c'est Sympa (310k subscribers).

Starting from a personal and poignant narrative, the film traces his journey between activism and naturalism, his search for a balance between struggle and contemplation, charting a path to living with dignity and facing what lies ahead. From the forestry struggles of the Millevaches plateau to the sett of a badger family, passing through the mega-reservoirs of Poitou, the deer of the Vercors, and the A69 motorway, “The Living Being Who Defends Itself” connects wild animals with the battles being waged across France against the destruction of their habitats.
