In the footsteps of Michel Perret, benefactor of Tullins

A family day of roaming in the Commune of Tullins offering the discovery of three buildings (the Town Hall, the St Laurent des Prés church and the Galerne Agricultural Estate museum) marking the different periods of Michel Perret's life.

__The morning __
!! At the Town Hall, on the Domaine des Chartreux de Tullins:

- From 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.: Permanent exhibition with free visits retracing the Perret genealogy, the period of chemical industry, the history of the Carthusian domain, the political life of Michel Perret and his relationship with education.
Members of both associations will be there to answer questions from the most curious.

- at 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.: Guided tours of the Town Hall with joint commentary from the two associations

- Continuous Children's Workshop: Architectural Models (under the responsibility of parents)
For the little ones, modeling clay will allow them to create small architectures.
For older children, model materials will be made available to create heritage architecture from photos in the town.

__The Afternoon__
Visitors are invited to visit the two sites alternately in order to take part in the guided tours.

!! At the Saint-Laurent-des-Prés church

- 14:00 p.m. to 17:30 p.m.: a permanent exhibition open to the public, recounting the history of the heating systems designed by Michel Perret, his achievements in the church during its restoration and the place of Jeanne-Véronique Perret in the donations to the church.
Members of the Association for the Safeguarding of the Church of Saint Laurent des Prés will be present to answer questions.

- 14:30 p.m. and 16:00 p.m.: Guided tours of the church and the exhibition.

- Ongoing Children's Workshop: making stained glass windows out of paper (under the responsibility of parents)
Using scrap paper, children can create stained glass windows, inspired by the renovation of those in the St Laurent des Prés church.

!! At the Galerne Agricultural Estate Museum:

- From 14:00 p.m. to 17:30 p.m.: Permanent exhibition at the Jean-Pierre Durand museum covering Michel Perret and agriculture, and in particular the recognition of Michel Perret as a leading figure in the agricultural world and its scholarly organizations.

- at 14:30 p.m. and 16:00 p.m.: Guided tours of the museum and the exhibition by Jean-Pierre Durand and members of the Association of Friends of Old Tullins

- Continuous Children's Workshop: Search and find the tools of the past (under the responsibility of parents)
Guided by a small booklet, children will explore the museum in search of period tools and objects.
