1915. In a bustling arms factory, four women discover social inequality, solidarity, freedom, and the beginnings of emancipation. Like everyone else, they yearn for victory and the return of men.

The arrival of Louise, a journalist and activist, will suddenly spark a wave of revolt among the workers. In the hell of an industry experimenting with mass production and Taylorism, with its inhumane working conditions, the four women discover a freedom of body, speech, and mind... but also social inequality, solidarity... and something resembling the beginnings of emancipation...

History and activism, a show by Michel Bellier, given as part of the "Les Tréteaux de Voiron" theater festival by the "Rouge Banane" company and directed by Anne-Claire Brelle.
