The Priory of Chirens 161 rue Notre Dame du Gayet, 38850 Chirens
The 61st edition of the International Chamber Music Festival takes place in this XNUMXth-century Romanesque church with exceptional acoustics. Concerts by some of the world's finest artists take place in an exceptional setting, listed as a historic monument.

Elsa Grether
Recognized in France and internationally, the French violinist Elsa Grether is a regular guest at prestigious venues and festivals: Carnegie Weill in New York, Les Folles Journées in Nantes, Printemps des Arts in Monte-Carlo, Radio Suisse-Romande and Festival Musiques en Eté in Geneva, Mozarteum in Salzburg, Palazzetto Bru Zane in Venice, to name but a few.

First Prize violist at the Cnsm in Paris, winner of the international competitions of Florence and Vercelli, Emmanuel Haratyk was successively a member of the prestigious Anton, Castagneri and Manfred string quartets. For three decades, he had an intense concert activity throughout the world, received by the most beautiful concert halls, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Wigmore Hall in London, Casals Hall in Tokyo, Teatro Coliseo in Buenos Aires, Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris… alongside remarkable artists, Leon Fleisher, Anne Quéffelec, Jean-Claude Pennetier, Claire Désert, François-Frédéric Guy, Frank Braley, Xavier Phillips, Gary Hoffman, Manuel Fischer-Dieskau, Paul Meyer, Romain Guyot, Sandrine Piau, Jean-Paul Fouchécourt, and also the Belcea, Szymanowsky and Tchalik Quartets or the jazz musicians Raphaël Imbert, Yaron Herman, Marion Rampal…
Mark Drobinsky
French cellist, former student of Mstislav Rostropovich at the Moscow Conservatory, Mark Drobinsky is recognized as one of the new masters of the cello. Winner of First Prize at the Munich International Competition, he left the USSR in 1974 to settle in Paris.
