Voiron is the city of arrival of the 17th stage, on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, and starting city of the 18th stage on Thursday, July 23rdTherefore, numerous disruptions are to be anticipated and expected over these two days.
How to get around Voiron during the Tour de France?
Traffic information for July 22rd

With the arrival of the 17th stage in the city centre on July 22nd, it will not be possible to circulate in the city centre.

To remember :
- From Tuesday, July 21 at 16 p.m.: streets marked in orange and orange zones are closed to traffic and parking
- The market scheduled for Wednesday, July 22nd is cancelled.
- On Wednesday, July 22nd: many streets will be closed to traffic and parking; vehicle entry and exit will be impossible in the areas surrounding these roads.

- The route through the city used by the race is prohibited from 8:30 am to 14 pm (street and area shown in green on the map)
- End of disruptions at 22pm (23pm for the reopening of the SNCF train station and Gare Nord car parks)
How to park in Voiron during the Tour de France?
Parking disruptions in Voiron town centre
Referring to the disruption map above to locate the city center car parks, here is what you need to know for each one:
- 🅿️ ARCADES: closed from July 21 at 16pm to July 23 at 22pm.
- 🅿️GRAND ANGLE: closed from July 21 at 20pm (Exit required before 20pm) to July 22 at 23pm.
- 🅿️TISSERANDS: possible entry via rue des Fabriques and possible exit on the station side.
- 🅿️ SNCF STATION and NORTH STATION: Closed from July 22 at 4am to July 23 at 23pm.
- 🅿️ TARDY BROTHERS: closed from July 22nd at 4am to July 23rd at 17:30pm.
- 🅿️SOURD STATION: closed from July 21 at 20pm to July 23 at 17:30pm.

No detailed information is official yet, but we will soon be able to inform you about where to park (by car or campervan), public transport solutions and shuttles to get to Voiron so you can fully enjoy the event.

Road closures
July 22rd for the 17th stage
Although the exact times of the passage of the caravan and the runners are not yet official, the Voiron communes which will have to deal with road closures are in order: Saint-Bueil, Saint-Geoire-en-Valdaine, Massieu, Chirens, Charavines, Villages du Lac de Paladru, Rives, Moirans, Saint-Jean-de-Moirans, La Buisse, Coublevie.
Of course, other towns in Isère and Savoie will be affected that day, including: Oyeu, Apprieu, Colombe, Le Grand-Lemps, Beaucroissant…
July 23rd for the 18th stage
For this day, the runners will leave Voiron to join the D1092 and the real start of the race on the road to Valence at the exit of Vourey, from where they will set off towards Tullins.
