1st Day – Archaeology and hiking
Upon your arrival, go to the Paladru Lake Archaeological Museum to immerse yourself in the history of the first inhabitants of the shores of the lake. A new setting for exceptional archaeological remains that offer you a captivating journey to the Neolithic era and the year one thousand.
At midday, you are free to choose between a picnic from your bag or a gourmet break on the terrace of "Paladru plage" (right next to the museum and the start of the hike).
In the afternoon, put on your sneakers and gain some altitude on the route of the "Hike of the 3 Crosses" to admire the panorama of the lake and the more distant massifs to the east! If the sky is clear, look east to see Mont-Blanc, if it's him 🙂
Your night at La Fontaine des Péraux
For your night at The Fountain of the Perals Claire and Gilles offer a large family dormitory room, "Les Poulettes," for a family or group, just a few minutes' walk from the beach. The location is quiet and rural, bordering a large meadow and a wooded area.

At lunchtime, treat yourself to a gourmet break at one of the best restaurants in the area: the Hotel des Bains. Don't forget to book, it's a very popular table!
Before hitting the road again, rent your electric bikes at Natura Vélo and set off on the greenway for an easy walk that still has some great surprises in store for you. Just after the start, join the Bois d'Amour, a unique path by the lake, under the trees, offering you an ideal setting for contemplation. Continue and go to the other end of the lake, to the marsh path, which borders the Sensitive Natural Area of the Véronnière marshes. Return to Charavines by the same route at your own pace.
