Around the Baracuchet, the highest point of the Terres Froides (960m), the route all over hills and valleys takes you far from the usual beaten track. Calm and serenity are the primary qualities of this route which will surprise you with its wild atmospheres.

Unmarked route.
Depending on the snow conditions, you will have to reach the Etang des Chartreux before putting on your snowshoes. But then, you will be surprised by the mountainous character of the forest atmospheres and the distant views or how the snow can transform these landscapes of front mountainous countries.
