It is said to be close and so different. The Chartreuse, a land of charm and mystery that Stendhal liked to call "The emerald of the Alps". Its unspoiled beauty, its history and its serenity will leave you with unforgettable memories.

From Voiron, Place de l'Hotel de Ville, take the D520 towards Saint-Étienne-de-Crossey and Saint-Laurent-du-Pont, then the D102 towards Aiguenoire, Saint-Christophe-sur- Guiers and Saint-Christophe-la-Grotte.
Join the D1006 at the top of the Col de Couz, turn right onto the D45 and climb to the Col des Égaux, then slide down Corbel without forgetting to enjoy the impressive panorama of the Frou gorges.
Join the Entremonts valley and the village of Entremont-le-Vieux, via the Cluze pass, crossing the Chartreuse Desert and its alpine meadows.
As soon as you leave Entremont-le-Vieux, go up on the Clarets and reach the Saint-Even cirque, a sumptuous limestone amphitheater adorned with waterfalls, via the D45e, then the Cucheron pass via Saint-Philibert to arrive at the resort village of Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse.
Shortly after Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse, return to Voiron by the D 520 via Saint-Laurent-du-Pont.
