This is a royal departure from the Château de Longpra, with a panoramic finish! Along the way, the route is mostly through forests, amidst varied species and on comfortable paths.
Beautiful viewpoints open onto the Ainan and Rivoires valleys, and at the summit of Mont Servelongue (779 m), the plateau reveals a vast panorama over the Chartreuse, the Bauges and, in good weather, as far as Mont Blanc!
Tips and Suggestions:
Longpra Castle is an exceptional example of 18th-century Dauphiné architecture. Accessible via a drawbridge over a water-filled moat, its roofs and interior decoration are well worth a visit (open from July to September only)!
