Very accessible from the city center of Voiron, this short nature hike will take you through woods, meadows and glades while discovering the Teissonnière marsh. Take all your time to observe plants and animals as well as possible ...
This site is of significant ecological interest by serving as a breeding site for many amphibians, including the crested newt and the yellow-bellied ringer, but also for certain marsh birds that live in the marshes (Rousserolles verderolles and effarvatte, Bouscarle de Cetti. ..) and many dragonflies (including Mercury's Agrion).
It is also a favorite hunting ground for several species of bats.
The marsh is also home to a regionally protected plant species: Common Ophioglossus.
Additional information: Shops in the city center. Hike passable all year round but to be preferred in spring if you wish to admire the fauna and flora of the marsh.
