At the heart of the "Chartreuse Regional Natural Park", the Girolle gite is a duplex that uses renewable energies. Outside, a large orchard in the middle of the countryside for relaxation, dining and playing in a green setting!

The Girolle gîte owes its name to those that grow in the woods in front of the gîte.
The lower part of the cottage consists of a living room, kitchen and bathroom, the upper part includes a bed for 2 people. It is adjoining the guest rooms, and has a shared TV lounge.
Maps and topos for hiking/climbing/cycling (hiking from the gîte), games are at your disposal and laundry room, bike room and barbecue are available to make the most of your stay.
Possibility of welcoming horses and their riders.
Additional information : Hiking and mountain biking from the gîte, equestrian center and tennis courts 2 km away. For cyclists: closed and secure room for your bikes, list of nearby repairers available, water jet and brush available on site to wash your bike, and possibility of an early breakfast (before 7am).
Sustainable tourism :
Our establishment was built with healthy and natural materials, mostly from our Chatreuse massif and with the reuse of old beams from renovated buildings. Hot water and heating are produced either by solar panels or by wood chips. The toilets are partly supplied by a spring. For breakfast, the bread is produced by the Poule aux Fruits d'or (2 kms). They are peasant bakers who cultivate their wheat and go so far as to transform it into bread. Everything else is homemade, even the apple juice, but except the butter! Everything that is not eaten is a treat for our hens! We favor short circuits and favor local merchants/craftsmen (good addresses to provide).
