In this theatrical and musical show, Claire Diterzi adapts and reinvents the words and life of Tassadite, a native of Kabylie, who arrived in France in 1955, an orphan then a courageous mother of eight children.
The poetic and mischievous words of the old woman, captured on video or embodied by the actress Saadia Bentaïeb, respond to the melodies of the songs mixed with the sounds of traditional music. A musical mix in which Claire Diterzi excels, inspired this time by one of the life stories of Tassadite like other anonymous people, which echoes her own story, but which also raises the great questions of our time on the place of women, the place of the father, emancipation, tolerance or the link with family and nature. An inspiring dialogue between the singular and the universal.
