Fissure relieves us of our own imperfections, awkwardness and shame by carrying them all. He does everything worse than everyone else, he's a hero of nothingness.
Not just a clown, Fissure is the undisputed master of error, holding all the faults of the world, from the most common to the most unimaginable. So he dies. But Fissure dies every 5 minutes, and his deaths are funny deaths. By dying, he exhausts death, ridicules it a little and ends up making it an element of repetition.
