Composed of eighteen dancers from different countries selected at the end of their training, the Barcelona junior ballet IT Dansa crackles with passion. Under the direction of Catherine Allard, the troupe composes a high-flying menu, mixing styles and influences
The four pieces brought together share the same artistic and technical requirements, revealing the talent of these young performers. Alongside a staple of the contemporary repertoire – the gripping Kaash by Akram Khan, created in 2002, whose scenography is by visual artist Anish Kapoor – are two pieces by former company dancers who have become choreographers, Cayetano Soto and Lorena Nogal , as well as the fourth creation by Gustavo Ramírez Sansano for IT Dansa. The whole offers a dizzying spectacle of energy and beauty.
