Route de la Grange Dîmière, 38850 Villages du lac de Paladru
IRIS is a choreographic proposal inspired by the eponymous sculpture "Iris messenger of the Gods" by Auguste Rodin. On their base and on their bar, three performers are busy delimiting their territory, shaping it and self-erecting themselves.
Like Iris, foot in hand, hips open and bust open to the public's gaze, the performers grab, lift, spread their bodies, letting the spectators discover hollow spaces. Thus shaped, they are led to move and meet.
The bar, like a totem, organizes their movements like a procession. On the games of heights and mixture of bodies, figures are drawn and rise that play with their detachment and inter-penetration. The bodies then become hybrids, seeming to carry the message of a mystical strangeness.
