As part of Food Transition Month, come and take part in a tasting committee as if you were a member of the jury. After that, Saint-Marcellin IGP will no longer hold any secrets for you!

In partnership with Pays Voironnais and My Beers, the C2MF offers you a better understanding of the specifications applied to the production of IGP St Marcellin cheese.

You will discover the physical and organoleptic characteristics of Saint-Marcellin IGP in a fun and educational way.

Using a simplified evaluation grid usually used during organoleptic examinations, you will taste 3 different cheeses and try to determine if they correspond to the Protected Geographical Indication of Saint-Marcellin. Weight, size, visual and taste texture… everything will be examined using your 5 senses in order to evaluate the cheeses offered for tasting.

The host will accompany you throughout the tasting, with the aim of understanding why the specifications make it possible to supervise production and improve the quality of the cheese, all in a good-natured and friendly atmosphere.
