“1944. They were the flame” is a show on the theme of the Resistance in Chartreuse. Unique representation as part of Heritage Days.

This show was created as part of the 1944-2024 Commemoration.
Written and directed by Philippe Bulinge of the Passeurs d'Histoires association, the show evokes the Resistance in Chartreuse, from the darkest hours of repression to the liberation of Chartreuse and national territory.
This story will allow us to become acquainted with the Franco-Polish transmission network of Saint Jean and Saint Thibaud de Couz, the acts of resistance against the Voiron militia, the tragic day of June 19, 1944 in Saint Laurent du Pont, the roundups of Jews in Saint Pierre de Chartreuse, the parachuting at Granier, the Compagnie Stéphane which came to settle at the Cirque de Saint Even and many other places....
