If the Brothers Grimm were writing today, what witch would Hansel and Gretel be up against? Hansel and Gretel, now young adults, reunite.
They prepare gingerbread and reminisce about their childhood and adolescence following the sudden death of their parents.
Just orphans, an international foundation offered them the MamiX connected fridge, the latest in a range of smart objects. In this technological paradise embodied by a fridge-witch, temptations and injunctions multiply. The algorithms torment the thoughts of the two teenagers until they isolate them from the world.
Gretel, in search of recognition by the image of a pure and perfect body, sinks into anorexia while Hansel, immersed in virtual nocturnal activities, gives in to fits of hyperphagia when the inner emptiness becomes insurmountable.
