Depuis des siècles, les femmes subissent violences et injustices, quelles que soient les époques ou les cultures. Certaines tombent, d’autres résistent et se redressent.
For centuries, women have suffered violence and injustice, regardless of time or culture. Some fall, others resist and get back up. Women and men mobilize and fight in their homes, in the streets, in associations, in political bodies, in the courts... Others write poems, songs, novels, plays for that violence does not spread in silence. Just Women pays tribute to the victims and fighters. It is a gesture of love and respect through texts notably by Anne Sylvestre, Bernard-Marie Koltès, Dorothy Parker, Taslima Nasreen, Magali Mougel, Linda Lemay, Virginie Despentes, Forough Farrokhzad, Sylvain Tesson, Maram al- Masri, Georges Moustaki, Hanadi Zarka, Francis Bebey, Clara Luciani, Linda McLean, Yves Jamait, Georges Brassens, Arthur H... It's not just theater, just readings, just songs... It's All of this at the same time.
