Discovery of one of the first photographic techniques: wet collodion. The photographs will be taken in the camera on aluminum plates.
Led by the Ad libitum workshop in partnership with the PAH du Pays Voironnais.

You will witness the artisanal preparation of the photo-sensitive support and the production of wet collodion photographs. A rare opportunity to fully experience the implementation of a process used from 1851 to 1880.

History, culture and heritage:
The Dimiere barn is a former outbuilding of the Carthusian monastery of La Silve Bénite. As its name indicates, it was used to store the Tithe, protected as a Historic Monument. Its ridge frame at more than 18 meters is remarkable.
