Grange de Louisias
Built in 1805, this remarkable rammed earth and thatched complex is one of the finest examples of traditional architecture in the Voiron region.
A frame with double raised tie beams without the slightest central pillar support, this roof has been covered in thatch since its construction in 1805.
Designed to house herds and store winter food for a very large farm, this building, which has remained intact, will take you on a journey through peasant history from Napoleon I to the present day.
During guided tours, a tasting/sale of jams made with fruit from the farm will be offered.
