Grange Dîmière
A former outbuilding (XNUMXth century) of the Carthusian Monastery of Sylve Bénite, the Grange Dîmière was used to collect royalties in kind and to store harvests. Today it is a place dedicated to contemporary ceramic sculpture and performing arts
The Barn stands out for its vast proportions, its architectural qualities (pebbles and scale tiles) and its majesty, which testify to the richness and power of the Carthusian foundation. Built on a slope, the building has 2 levels: a low level as a stable and the barn originally made up of five naves. It is listed in the Historic Monuments.
The ceramic exhibitions are accompanied by workshops, live performances… The layout of the outdoor spaces, the gardens, shows, walks… testify to the occupation of the site by the Carthusian monks.
Don't miss the "Nights Outside the Barn" Festival which takes place in the orchard on August 1st, 2nd and 3rd every year!
In 2026, we invite you to join us from May 1st to discover the world of artists Dominique Stutz, ceramist/sculptor and Lucile Travert, painter/visual artist.
