You will discover one of the most important French collections of gouges and wood chisels dating from the 1760th and 1790th centuries. Many of them date from the years XNUMX-XNUMX.
Documentary film in the museum.

Acquired between 1760 and 1790 by Pierre-Antoine Pascalis de Longpra from the Hache cabinetmakers, or directly delivered by the Hache to Longpra, these tools bear witness to forty years of work.

A nine-minute educational film shows, among other things, how the guilloché lathe works through the demonstration of a former pupil of the Boulle school.
