"Les Alpins" produces white and red wines, from vines located all around Voiron, in the communes of La Buisse, Saint-Jean de Moirans and Saint Cassien. The old forgotten and rare grape varieties of Isère are particularly honored.

Ancient grape varieties such as: Verdesse, Etraire, Persan and Servanin.
The vinification respects the specifications of Organic Farming in an approach that limits inputs (fermentation using native yeasts and use of low doses of sulphites).

Reconnecting with his Champagne origins, Sébastien Bénard settled in 2015 as a winegrower in the town of La Buisse. He now operates around 4 hectares of vines in organic farming, spread all around Voiron.
From the start of his project, he wanted to contribute to highlighting the grape varieties and terroirs of Isère, true markers of identity. This is why he chose to plant 2 hectares of rare and forgotten grape varieties.

In parallel with these recent plantations, he also exploits older vines, mostly around fifty years old, some being even more than a hundred years old!

Its grapes allow it to produce wines whose identity is resolutely Alpine. Taking advantage of the qualities of its different grape varieties, it offers blended wines including, in particular, the "Métisse" and "Les Compères" cuvées, respecting the specifications of the IGP Isère.

With his companion, Julie Bernadou, beekeeper, he opened a point of sale on their farm, a point of sale where you will find all of their products!
