A true Proust madeleine story of many families, ANTESITE was born from the desire of a man, Noël Perrot-Berton, an apothecary in Voiron, to fight against the alcoholism of railway workers on construction sites during extreme heat.
Feeling invested with a public health mission, the pharmacist created the famous liquorice concentrate in 1898.
For over a century, the recipe for the small bottle has not changed and remains a secret.
Opening
Open all year round, Monday to Friday from 9pm to 12:30pm and from 14pm to 16:30pm. Closed on weekends.
