The New Solidarity Gardens employ around thirty people in work integration programs, working in organic market gardening, landscaping, horticulture, and plant nursery. They sell vegetable baskets, run a small on-site market, and offer seedlings in the spring.
Les Nouveaux Jardins de la Solidarité is an association workshop and work site for integration based in Moirans since 1996. It employs 30 employees in integration on two activities: organic market gardening and the maintenance of natural spaces/green spaces/nursery.
They grow organic vegetables, vegetable seedlings, trees, and flowers, and you can find these products in the form of baskets, at their open house in the spring, or at their direct sales at their "small market" every Wednesday. The green spaces team also manages public and private projects.
The Gardens thus allow employees in training programs to reintegrate into the workforce. These employees, supported by a team of eight permanent staff members (professionals in market gardening, landscaping, support services, and administrative matters), benefit from personalized socio-professional support throughout their employment contract. They have access to individual and/or group training during working hours, depending on their individual goals.
Possibility of accommodating groups for visits to the Gardens depending on availability.
Every Wednesday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., a small market is open on site to offer you seasonal organic vegetables as well as tree seedlings, flowers, vegetables according to the seasons.
