A l’ombre de la Sylve Bénite
Before or after your exertion, from May to October, take the time to visit the Grange Dîmière! Now rehabilitated, it has become a place dedicated to artistic creation, hosting contemporary ceramic installations and live performances.
Starting from the Grange Dîmière, a former dependency of the nearby Carthusian monastery of La Sylve Bénite, this hike, accessible to all, immerses you in the history and landscapes shaped by the Carthusians, whose influence can be found far beyond.

The trail begins with a gentle climb through a beautiful, shady forest, ideal for warming up, and gradually leads to the Cross of the Dead Monk. Beneath this wooden cross, a pause is a natural choice to enjoy the tranquility of the place. The return journey is then downhill, still sheltered by the trees, in this "blessed forest," particularly pleasant on summer days.
